Located between Heron Lake and Brewster, this three span through girder bridge crosses Jack Creek parallel to Minnesota Highway 60.
Built in 1911, the bridge features a main span with curved edges, as well as two approach spans with straight edges. These spans rest on concrete substructures, the piers of which were built for two tracks.
Structures like this are common to cross small to medium sized creeks.
Overall, this bridge appears to be in good condition. A more detailed inspection will be carried out in the near future.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
